Wrapped in Native American and immigrant history as rich as any in the American West, the town of Sisseton celebrates a place of beauty and friendliness. 

Established on the northern fringe of the vast Coteau des Prairies (hills of the prairie), this active community of more than 2,500 commands an idyllic position in South Dakota. Approximately 60 miles North of Watertown, South Dakota on I-29, Sisseton offers a small town feel. Neighboring towns include Britton, South Dakota, Claire City, South Dakota, Webster, South Dakota, Rosholt, South Dakota, and Browns Valley, Minnesota.

The town borders the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Reservation and is a unique mix of cultures, events, and opportunities.
